Thobias Ruge Ferdinand

Mr Thobias Ruge Ferdinand is a senior member of the Tanganyika Law Society, a law society inTanzania and an advocate working with IPC LEGAL ADVOCATES.

Mr. Thobias Ruge Ferdinand was admited to the bar in the year 2010. Before joining the University for his Law degree course he worked as a Court Clerk for nine years from 1987 to 1996 in Courts of Law of the United Republic of Tanzania. He also worked for five years from 1996 to 2001 as a Courtroom Assistant for the Internation Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda (ICTR) in Arusha.

Practice Experience: Mr Ruge worked for various Law Firms in Arusha as a Legal Officer from 2006 to 2008 worked for MATERU AND COMPANY ADVOCATES and in 2008 to 2010 worked for SIAY AND COMPANY ADVOCATES and later as an Advocate for SIAY AND COMPANY ADVOCATES from 2010 to 2022.

Mr Ruge while working with firms above was mainly dealing with business establishment law, real estate development law, societies and non-governmental organizations establishment law and general litigation in civil and criminal law.
Mr. Ruge joined IPC legal Advocates in 2023.

Qualifications: LLB (Hons) University of Dar es Salaam, Advocate, Notary Public and Commissioner for Oaths.
